- Actually, the concerns do not seem to have been for real, as I have been
- re-assured by Softwood's techinical support, and has the Softwood
- President/CEO said on this newsgroup. In fact, the W'95 version of FW
- has allowed Softwood to apply new features to the upcoming Amiga FW.
- However, they did not want to pre-announce these features until the
- final, stable product was ready. When I didn't see the same features for
- the Amiga version, I reacted too soon worrying about Softwood leaving the
- market. Fortunately that does not seem to be the case at all, and I wish
- now that I hadn't got Softwood un-deserved bad publicity over it.
-
- Actually, the W'95 version will probably be a real good thing for Amiga
- users. I am hoping Amiga<->W'95 FW file formats will allow me to share
- files with friends and co-workers without resorting to ASCII versions.
-
- The Softwood web pages are really slick, other than still getting a
- lot added to them (so like me, you might have questions not immediately
- answered by reading them). Check them out at:
